ARCO POINT

Is 4 km from Alona beach,the dive starts at around 5mtrs its mainly a flat sandy bottom, Arco point is popular for its hole in the roof top which you can swim through! You exit the hole to a depth of 21mtrs to a sloping sandy bottom, this is a wall dive taken on the right shoulder,some nice ledges, over hangs,a dive light is handy as there are small caves to look inside, there are nice soft corals and fans on the wall, A good chance to see snake eels, scorpion fish, nice nudibranches.

It's often a drift dive some times strong in a south direction.

BBC ( Bohol beach club)

Is 3km from Alona beach,the dive begins at 9m a sandy slope going out to a steep slope, some times a drifth dive,slope on right shoulder,a good dive master will show you pygmey seahorses on the soft sea fans,

Sea snakes are often seen here,at 12m is a jeepney wreck the roof has been cut off and is laying next to it. Its quiet over grown with colourfull corals,scorpion fish,banded pipe fish are often found under the wreck.

There is a 2nd wreck at around 7m turned upside down,on the way up the sandy slope black and blue stripped nudibranches can be found in the sand,also sea moths,and fingered dragonnet, eaglerays have also been seen here.

HOYO HOY

Dive starts at 8m with a sloping sandy bottom,followed by a small drop off. A good dive master will show you 2 large frogfish black and red at around 14m,from here you continue with the slope on the left shoulder, then at 22m you come to a nice wall,lots of caves and ledges, a dive light is a must,long fin comets hiding in the caves as are scorpions and some big groupers,also some nice nudibranches, you finish the dive on the roof top in a beautiful soft coral bed.

SANCTUARY

Dive starts at 12m a steep slope down to 26m then sandy slope.

Nice hard corals,plenty of big fish, unicorn fish,bat fish,smasher mantis shrimps,giant barracoda,white eye morays,snake eels,groupers, large school of jacks often in tornado,large lion fish,travally,baby barracuda,nudibranchus.
The dive ends with a nice wall,and on the roof top a very nice soft coral bed.

ALONA HOUSE REEF

We are very lucky to have such a beautiful house reef, many dive resorts have to travel some distance to find a reef such as this,and we have this on our door step.

This site is perfect for the snorkler,open water Divers ,or higher.
the reef starts at 5m,then a wall to 25m then sloping out, where you can be shown, flying garnards, blue spotted sting rays, thorney coloured sea horses, the wall contains various hard and soft corals,caves,ledges,so many tropical fish,to many to mention.Little to no current,good visibility.great.......

SWISS BAMBOO

Dive starts at 5m sandy flat top,wall dive down to 25m,a small cave at the wall base,on the sandy slope at around 28/34m are thorney coloured sea horses.
A dive light is very usefull on this dive as there are many holes in the wall,many varieties of fish,nice corals hard and soft, bat fish, groupers, long fin comets, white eyed eels, nudi's.scoprion fish,

KALIPAYAN

Dive starts at 5 m,its a wall dive drops off to 18m, wall on the right shoulder,lots of ledges caves over hangs,comets,scorpion fish,bat fish,small barracuda's,banded pipe fish,nice variety of nudi's,eels.

Table corals,soft corals,sea fans can be seen here,the scenery changes with nice sandy slopes then continues with the wall,finishing on the roof top with nice corals,razor fish.

HABAGAT WRECK

Dive starts at 7m a flat sandy bottom,the divemaster will lead you to a sandy slope where you will come to the wreck at 34m,there you can see a black frog fish,some very big scorpion fish,also large lion fish,eels,banded pipe fish,juvenile emperor fish,cleaner shrimps,outside the wreck a good dive guide will show you the black ghost pipe fish.
after this the dive will continue up a sandy slope ,sea snakes can be seen there,also in the wall snake eels,moray eels,comets,nudi's,groupers,box fish,scorpion fish,sweetlips.finishing

GAK-ANG

Is a wall dive in front of gak ang island,the wall is down to 40+m then a sandy slope,the wall has some very large fan corals also soft and hard,some caves and over hangs to look in,so a dive light is usefull.

Groupers, Scorpion fish,and some nice Nudi's can be found here,lots of different schools of fish in the blue. Gak ang has a very nice soft coral bed to finish the dive.

PUNTOD WALL

The reef topography has nice formations of rocks with hard and soft corals and sandy bottom. A lot of different coral fish around and perfect for snorkeling.
The wall is around 3km long an average wall depth of 40m after this sandy slope,white tip sharks and whale sharks are sometimes seen there,jacks,snappers,travally's,shaded bat fish,rainbow runners,big mouth mackerel,big tunas,flat worms,big scorpion fish, various nudi's,good visibility up to 30m or more.
The wall has lots of caves and overhangs,its a good idea to bring your dive torch.

DOIJO BEACH

Gradually descending reef slope and a very nice wall with several different kinds of large Sea Fans. Barracudas, many coral fish and from Jan / Feb / March there is a big possibility to see Hammerheads,whale sharks have been seen several times their.various nudi's,giant puffer's, groupers,caves and over hangs.Dive light recomended.

CATHEDRAL, BALICASAG

Wall dive (5 - 40m), great corals on the top,wall down to 40m normaly good visibility,lots of caves and overhangs,big sea fans on the wall,frog fish can be found here,in the blue are many types of schooling fish,including tunas mackeral,jacks snappers,bat fish.

an easy dive,normaly no current,good for snorkling,good chance of turtle's..

DIVERS HEAVEN, BALICASAG

The reef starts off at about 5 meters with nice damage free hard and soft corals,A wall dive,down to 50m in places,lots of big caves and overhangs so a dive lamp is recommended, The bottom composition is mainly sandy and sloping out,but has nice size groupers,In the blue are lots of nice fish including snappers,angel fish,various bat fish,trumpet fish,tuna's,rainbow runners,gapping mackerel,some nice nudi's,good chance of turtle's,at the end of the dive often a huge school of jacks in tornado.

BLACK FOREST, BALICASAG

It is called black forest due to its abundance of black corals. Swimming through the branches of these corals is quite an enjoyable experience. The drop off falls down slowly after 12 meters from the surface until 40 meters (sandy bottom). There are also many soft and hard corals as well as special butterfly fishes (Heniochus acuminatus).groupers,barracuda,snappers,jacks,travally,turtles often seen thier also.
Often a drift dive, some times strong.

MARINE SANCTUARY, BALICASAG

This is a protected marine site considered as the breeding place for the "bonitas" (jack fish). Most of the time, there are thousands swimming together. Balicasag Island is one of the best-known diving locations in the Visayans together with Palawan in the Philippines. The wall goes down directly to about 45 meters and then it slopes to 80 meters or more. There are many small caves between 10 and 30 meters with soft and hard corals. Varieties of small tropical fishes are abundant.A good chance to see Frog fish here,large Groupers,several kinds of large sweetlips,Turtles also.

SNAKE ISLAND

Also called Cervera shoal, under water island (12 - 40m),this is a drift dive,advanced diver or above is recomended,what you see, Sea Snakes, Garden Eels,cuttle fish,porkupine fish,nudi's, etc,very nice soft purple corals.

PAMILACAN,SPANISH WATCH TOWER

Gradually descending reef slope (10 - 40m), later short walls lots of caves with nice Nudi's,sandy slopes, Comets also,Turtles,Groupers,stripped/spotted Sweetlips, Barracuda, Trigger fish, Mackerel, Tunas, Napoleon, Nudi Branch, Sea Slug, Garden Eel, Giant Potato Cod, a very nice soft coral bed to finish the dive.

dive light is recomended on this site.

TALISAY, CABILAO ISLAND

Sandbank bis 30 Meter. Dort beginnt eine sehr tiefe, ?berh?ngende Wand. Viele gro?e Gorgonien, Tonnenschw?mme und Federhaarsterne pr?gen das Bild. Von Januar bis April werden dort sehr viele Hammerhaie gesichtet.

LIGHT HOUSE, CABILAO ISLAND

This site is very unique due to its big sandy plato where turtles are often resting, the dive starts at 12m sloping out to the sandy plato,nice corals along the way,sometimes a drift to start but this soon slows down once you turn the corner,the plato is at 22m then the wall starts and goes to 50m or so,

A very nice wall with a huge variety of fans and soft corals,to many fish to mention in the blue,Napoleons at various depths, some nice flat worms,Nudi's,

SOUTH POINT, CABILAO

Other wise known as shark cave, the dive begins at 3m, the wall goes down to 25m,at 22/25m are 5 caves,were small white tips sharks can some times been seen resting,bring a dive light.

The wall has lols of curves,caves,some nice nudi's,this site has the best sloping coral bed on the island at around 8-12m.
