Via MANILA with one night in Manila, followed by a direct flight to Cebu (hourly) or twice a day to Tagbilaran. Its also possible to take the huge (Super ferry) Ferry which will take 24 hrs directly to Tagbilaran In any case you should change some money directly in the airport for taxis or ferrys Once in Tagbilaran (Bohol Is.) its easy to get to Alona Beach (Panglao Is.) over one of the two Bridges. The probably easiest way is to catch a Taxi (8US$) to Alona Beach. Another way would be the Bus or a Tricycle which is cheaper but takes longer. If you contact Sun Divers in Advanced then they will pick you up on the Airport or on the Ferry terminal. Additional Charges on Ocean Jet will be collected on the Pier if your Laguage is heavier then 15kg. At the moment each additional kilo will cost you 7 Pesos ( 12 cents) If leaving the Philippines you should have 550 Pesos( 11 US$) handy for the Airport tax. This tax is only payable in Pesos cash and not with credit card or dollars. Alona Beach is one of the nicest and most popular Destinations in Panglao. Other places are called Dumaluan Beach, Doljo Beach, Sunrise Beach and Momo Beach which are a little bit further away from Civilisation. In Alona you can enjoy a big variaty of intl. Cuisine as well as local food, different kinds of Sport and some Nightlife.
