 Balicasag Island is probably the best known Island to divers in this area. To reach the Island it takes approx. 25 min by a Banka and the Island is famous for the big schools of Macarels Barracudas and big Turtles. The Island is also a paradise for snorkelers because the depth of the drop of lies around 2-5m which makes it ideal snorkeling grounds. Right in the middle of the Island there is a huge Lighthouse and if you are lucky you meet the caretaker who will let you go on it. Fantastic few....and alway worth to visit the friendly locals on the Island.
